Acquisition Solutions® Expands Presence Beyond the Beltway
Company Responds to Clients' Growing Need for Support Outside of the D.C. Area

Arlington, Virginia, March 11, 2008—- Acquisition Solutions, Inc. announced today that it recently began work on its first major consulting contracts outside of the Washington, D.C. area. The contracts with federal agency operations in St. Louis, Missouri, Cleveland, Ohio and Raleigh, North Carolina mark the first in a series of steps that Acquisition Solutions is taking to expand its presence in response to the growing nationwide demand for conflicts-free strategic acquisition consulting.

All three engagements represent expansion of client relationships that originated with forward thinking federal acquisition leaders of agency operations located in the Washington, D.C. area. Recent data from the Federal Procurement Data System - Next Generation shows that the government obligated nearly 65 percent of its acquisition dollars - over $270 billion -- outside of Virginia, Maryland and Washington, D.C. The Base Realignment and Closure initiative and security concerns after September 11 continue to drive the decentralization of all government operations.

The company also established a new position to head the expansion efforts. Shaw Cohe, who formerly led Acquisition Solutions' consulting for the Department of Defense and the U.S. Coast Guard, has been appointed as Executive Director of Regional Centers. Prior to joining the Acquisition Solutions team, Cohe completed a distinguished career in the U.S. Navy, which included a number of senior acquisition leadership positions across the Department of Defense.
